Zusammenfassung

Die Mundhygiene spielt eine entscheidende Rolle für die körperliche Gesundheit. Zahnpasta ist ein zentraler Bestandteil der täglichen Körperpflege, dessen Inhaltsstoffe signifikante Auswirkungen auf das orale Mikrobiom, die Entstehung und den Verlauf von Karies sowie auf andere physiologische Parameter wie Speichel und Blutplasma haben können. Der vorliegende Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die bekannten Inhalts- und Wirkstoffe sowie neue Erkenntnisse aus der Forschung.

Abstract

Oral hygiene plays a crucial role in physical health. Toothpaste is a key component of daily personal hygiene and its ingredients can have significant effects on the oral microbiome, the development and progression of caries and other physiological parameters such as saliva and blood plasma. This article provides an overview of the known ingredients and active substances as well as new findings from research.
